Our logo symbolizes a key; a key that unlock your Ki. But what is Ki? The Japanese word Ki (equivalent to Qi or Chi in Chinese) is translated as life force energy. It is the vital energy that is held to animate the body internally, and is a key principle in traditional Eastern medicine and healing practices (e.g. Reiki, Chi Kung, Acupuncture, Shiatsu, etc.) as well as martial arts (e.g. Tai Chi, Aikido, etc.). The concept of this universal life force energy in our body and everywhere, is very old and shared by many cultures. While it is referred to as Ki in Japanese culture, it can be found as Chi or Qi in Chinese records dating back to 3500 years ago. In Sanskrit and ancient Hindu, it is known as Prana dating back to 1500 BC. It is also seen as Lüng in Tiebtan, and Mana in Pacific Island cultures. Ki is a universal energy that penetrates everywhere uniting all the manifestations of the universe, visible and invisible, material and immaterial, Ying and Yang. When all yin and yang aspects of Ki are in harmony, there is health, wellbeing, and contentment. Healing practices work with the Ki energy meridians throughout the body to clear stagnant or negative energy in the meridians, or through special breathing and other exercises to cultivate Ki.
Hi-Ki is a Key that invites you say Hi to Ki, makes you High on Ki, and takes you to Higher vibration with the help of crystals and gemstones. A key that helps you unlock and tap into the Ki energy and let it flow through the chakras in our body. But what are Chakras? In Sanskrit, the word chakra means disk or wheel and refers to the energy centers in our body. These wheels or disks of spinning energy, each correspond to certain nerve bundles and major organs. To function at their best, your chakras need to stay open and balanced. If they get blocked, you may experience physical or emotional symptoms related to that particular chakra. There are seven main chakras that run along your spine. They start at the root, or base, of your spine and extend to the crown of your head. We tried to demonstrate these chakras in the key in our logo, with the base of the key representing the root chakra, the eye representing the sixth chakra or the third-eye, and the crown representing the seventh chakra referred to as the crown chakra.
